The last blog post I made was in December. DECEMBER?! I had to take a break for some personal stuff but I am now back and ready to go and start making videos and blogging for you all.
A couple of months ago (back before Christmas)I bought a candle, and when I got my new bed somehow it broke. By falling on the floor in my room. Needless to say it was a bath and body works candle. I kept the candle with the idea that it was still salvageable. Or I could use it somehow.
So flash forward to week or so ago when I watched a video on you tube where this girl had the same exact thing happen to her, she ended up saving the candle by putting it in hot water and essentially melting it and reforming it to fit another glass bath and body works glass candle holder.
That was my plan. So I grabbed a pan, added some water and began melting the wax out of another glass container that belonged to Bath and Body works. Needless to say if you can tell by the pictures, that did not happen. I went to plan B, I melted them and poured the melted wax into ice cube containers and froze it and made these.
I can’t tell you what sent this is from Bath and Body Works, but It smells kind of like peaches. Perfect for the spring/summer time.
Lastly, It has been one year since I started blogging. I will be posting what I learned in my 1 year of blogging. I also want to add, thank you all for joining me on this journey and being basically my internet friends! It really means a lot!
Disclaimer: When using heat and glass, make sure you have water while in the process, there is water in this pan. Also to insure that the glass wouldn’t break even though there was water in the pan, the heat was very low.
After you put them in the ice cube tray or what ever mold you are using, put in the freezer for about 5 to 10 minutes.
Disclaimer: Please be careful when using heat and glass. If you are going to use heat and glass please use water to make sure you are safe. Also please use protective clothing when using heat and glass.
